Pakistan looks to Russia as the US moves to India

Islamabad: Military and political leaders are looking for warm relations with Moscow that have been glacial since the Cold War. As the US close relations with India as Pakistan also looking new strategic friends and Russia have one of them because in recent past Pak-Russia many cooperation have signed regarding purchase the Russian military tools and collectively resolve the Terrorism. Before Pakistan has been good relations with US while Russian ties with India even backing in 1971 war with Pakistan. But now that most NATO troops have left Afghanistan. One Senior Military Leader of Pakistan said that “of course we are concerned”, who spoke on condition of secrecy. The balance of power is being tipped toward India and that is not good and it’s been done with the help of the western world. So, that’s why we are looking at various markets because conventional military equality is the only recipe for peace and stability.
