EU Ministers Propose Tougher Anti-Terrorism Measures
The European Union Justice and Interior Ministers are
discussing ways to make stronger information distribution and border control,
among other trial to split down on terrorism. Their two-day meeting ends Friday
in Riga, Latvia. Proposals by the EU justice and interior ministers aspire to strengthen
existing measures on observation, information sharing and border control across
the 28-member European Union. Previously this week, EU finance ministers authorized
anti-money laundering measures and backed other proposals to cut off terrorist
